This game suddenly has started crashing.

When I press "Yes" to enable Steamworks at the start-up screen, a box pops up with some text, (I can't remember what it was) with options of "Ignore", "Accept", "Copy" and "Clear". I mash Accept to try and start the game, and if I'm lucky it starts the menu in a lower resolution, no music, and when I press Enter to start, the cursor moves to Exit and quits the game itself. Note that I have had the game for about 3 weeks now, and this is the first time this has happened.

Most likely due to the beta nature of enabling steamworks. Unfortunately you'll have to disable it to run a smooth game w/o achievements.

I've been having this same error, even when clicking "No" to steamworks. Any help would be appreciated.

Somone else suggested running in compatability mode(in xp). Not sure if it works though.

Same thing is happening to me. The game has crashed before but this is the first time Im seeing thing window pop up

It does at first. The moment you finish the chapter though, the game crashes with a different error:

of Step Event
for object objScoreStats:

Error in code at line 28:

at position 26: Unknown variable type
