This game is REALLY badly made.
It's fun, has a great soundtrack and an awesome story but God damn, this game is badly made nobody has any right to complain about the bugs in Bethesda's games after playing this.

Stop complaining, it's you that suck at it.

You obviously didn't understand me because that's not what I meant. I meant there are constant errors, load of crashes, missing sound and lots of things that just suggest it's badly made. The gameplay, however is excellent and the difficulty is fine.

It's either a hardware incompatibility, or you're on Mac/Linux, which I guess are just other words for "hardware incompatibility" as they're not meant for gaming.
Windows/Mac/Linux are all software, not hardware.

I would have to say it's a compatibility issue. I just played through the game once (about 5 hours of playtime). And I haven't experienced a single bug (that I've noticed at least). I'm using a 360 controller which also seems to be working fine. I'll admit that the flashing screen animations are sometimes annoying, but I I assume this is done for style, both to reference the late 80's feel and because The main character is crazy (this part is particularly nausia inducing during the hospital scene[\spoiler].

I've experienced a hell of a lot of bugs and fair enough it was only made by a few people but they shouldn't really release it when it's this buggy for a lot of people. Same goes for every company that does the same.

All sorts. Lots of error reports when starting the game, loading the game, completing a stage, and the walrus mask is apparently broken for everyone. The bugs seem fairly hit and miss sometimes though.

although I agree, a person can only test on so many different types of machines. So what seems fine before release actually ends up a bigger issue when even more different types of hardware are added to the soup. I think beta releases are a good idea for situations like this. It's an assurance that what you are getting isn't bug free yet. What OS are you running?

Windows 7, so nothing particularly rare. I agree about the beta idea though, it would have given them (and the customers) a lot of information about the kind of bugs that were happening.

This is like my favorite game of the past 5 years and even I have to agree that it's buggy as hell. It's not some ♥♥♥♥ing democracy where you can put in your vote saying "oh I didn't experience any bugs [therefore you must be wrong]" or something. The gameplay is great, soundtrack is amazing, the scenes are very detailed and skillfully done, but god damn are there lots of bugs. I'm not even saying I experienced most of them, but the whole surfaces fiasco should tell you just how intrinsic bugs are to this game.

And BTW Bethesda are still worse because their games are at least 6 times more expensive, have over 1000 times the budget, are usually based on the same engines as the previous installments, and because Todd Howard is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

the only problem with a beta program and the indies on humble bundle is that they make their money from selling all at once. But if they released on steam or something first as a beta then they wouldn't be getting the attention and beta testing that they might need. This is actually a really important issue that could use some ideas.

GeForce 8800 GT with 314.22 drivers, Windows 7 64-bit. I needed to turn surfaces off before the new beta (not to mention the startup bugs and achievement bugs), but it looks like just about every bug I know about has been fixed in this short time period.

Only 16 out of 35? Man, I've seen you in the Leaderboard, I thought you had 100% the game. Personnaly, 33 out of 35 Achievements, only the A+ and it comes with the last one.
