Soundtrack DLC
well, i grabbed myself the soundtrack for this game, just now. and while it's a fantastic collection of music, the ID3 tags are deplorable and inconsistant as all hell. track numbers duplicated across multiple songs and missing altogether on other tracks.

honestly, i have no problem buying a game soundtrack - i do it often, but i expect at least a little effort to me put into presentation / organization, moreso if i'm paying as much for the soundtrack as i did for the game itself :x

joshandersen24: It says on the DLC store page what the path for the installed music is I believe.

Is it simply a set of 320kps MP3 then?

I'm not sure this is such an instant buy for me. The Payday: The Heist soundtrack was, as it's only £3.99 and comes in MP3 and WAV form, as well as having a set of Remix files and Sound Effects bundled in (plus it tells you all this on the DLC store page).

I already have the HL:M soundtrack in the weird OGG format from purchasing the game (it's in the root of the game's directory). Not sure it's worth £6.99 just to have it in MP3 format too.

the mp3s are MOSTLY 320kps. but there is also a couple 192 and 128's in the mix.

which is utterly absurdly sloppy. ESPESCIALLY considering the cost.

i can appreciate that due to the number of bands on the soundtrack, and licensing, the cost would be more than an in house produced soundtrack.

but at least give us something with a consistant bitrate and proper id3 tags. :|

i'm feeling a little ripped off, honestly.
