Any cheats?

Jesus christ this is a great game, but I suck so bad. I have like 5 hours on it and im stuck on decadence aka chapter 3. Is there any cheats like god mode? If not, any pro tips?

pretty much don't die. Sometimes you can stand in enemies with guns and they won't shoot you, but that's about it. Gotta be fast, try not to stand still for too long,

Also, any one-shot one-kill melee weapons are quite effective, even for ranged enemies. If ranged enemies are hard to approach, try to throw something at them (even bounching stuff off the wall, that's cool.) Use pretty much everything at your disposal.

Just be patient and don't feel bad if you fail, sometimes you have to die a lot to learn a good method for tackling the level. Throwing melee weapons is very handy for taking down armed enemies, barging a good door can make things much easier entering a room too.
Use firearms in moderation, it's probably most sensible at first just to use them for if there are just a few enemies remaining on that floor.

One thing I found very useful whilst trying to slaughter my way across a level (and build up my combo rating) was to occasionally use guns to bait enemies to their death. Set up somewhere where all the enemies will be coming out of one door, and fire off a couple rounds. It's easy to shoot them as they come through the choke point. Note that some enemies are "deaf" and won't respond to gunshots.

As noted above, though, melee weapons usually do the trick very well. Their effective range is actually quite long. And throwing them at enemies works in a pinch.
