Crafting Costume for PAX East

Just thought I'd share, I'm throwing together a Jacket costume for PAX East. Figured it'd be easy enough to do on short notice. Also figured it'd be a good tutorial for anyone else wanting to do a Jacket outfit:

I opted to go with the recognizable Richard mask as well, which was purchased here: http://www.amazon.com/Chicken-Supreme-Halloween-Costume-Accessory/dp/B001CKRXXO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1LTV3817EX97Z&coliid=I1UG8I1NVFFDIR as opposed to any masks not featured in the primary artwork.

I'll be sure to share photos when it all arrives. Wonder if I have any old white sneakers... if not I'll just opt for the ones I'm currently wearing. If I wasn't flying I planned on buying a fake rubber machete or butcher knife or butcher cleaver.

How about giving your girl friend a Don Juan mask, and find a friend dress like those russian in game and put on Rasmus mask!!

Man, that jacket was WAY too tight on me. That's what I get for ordering from China. :-/

Nice costume btw. I'm doing a hotline miami costume in July for a con I'm going to. I'm going based off the Hotline Miami artwork but the only problem I'm having is I can't decide whether to go with a bat weapon or the fire axe. I found this site that has them both, made from soft foam and looks super real but I can't decide. Any opinions?

I'd go with the Bat. Nice call on the foam though. Unfortunately I'm flying to PAX so I'm pretty boned on weaponry.

Wow nice cosplay! I'm planning on doing something similar for PAX Australia in July :D Thanks a bunch for the tip! Also, what size jacket did you get? I'll probably get XL and Red to be safe but if you got XL and it was tight, I might need to lose weight or find another source :P

It was XL. I weigh about 125 and I'm 5'11. It was less about weight and more about length.
