"Hotline Miami has been torrented to a “staggering level”
I just like to say its super impressive an arcade game like this even gets 100k copies sold.

I bought the game after I pirated it.

So what. I try before I buy, thats the reason I have 200+ games on steam. Theres no demos anymore and most titles thesedays runs like ♥♥♥♥ (even on my 680)

Provided people buy the game after trying it out I don't see a problem.
I usually make the gamble of buying a game off the bat if I get a good impression of it, but I understand why others would rather try before they buy.

You say that like the devs even really care about people pirating it, IIRC Cactus released a patch designed to help pirates play the game with better quality.

I tend to pirate a tooooon. If i like it I stop playing after an hour or so then wishlist it on steam or buy it right away, depending on current funds. If it sucks, bablam recycle bin. Piracy - The ultimate in free advertising

I wish i had pirated it. It's buggy as hell(I can't even get past level 8) and the controls are kinda crappy. The game itself is great, but the fact that i'm swinging at a dude and hitting air is fairly LOL.
