OK, this is going to get a little bit complicated so bear with me.

Click the magnifying glass on the top right of your screen, and type "Terminal"

Once you have the Terminal open, copy paste this line of code in:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
and then press Enter.

Ok, what did that do? By default on Lion and Mountain Lion, the "Library" folder, that was available on previous Mac versions, is locked away from the user. This unlocks it PERMANENTLY (and if you use Steam regularly, its well worth keeping this way). Of note: each time you update the OS, it will lock it up again, so commit this to memory.

Ok, now that the Library folder is unlocked, lets access it. Open up a new Finder window and on the left hand side, find the "Favorites" section that is your username. For me it is "luca" but for you it will be whatever your user profile is. Click on that, and look for another folder called 'Library'. Hey, we just unlocked this! If you checked before we did that bit of code in the Terminal, it wouldn't be there.

Upon clicking on the Library folder, you will be overwhelmed by the sheer number of folders. This is why Apple locks it away, as messing with stuff in this can cause terrible things to happen, so if you are certain that you DON'T KNOW what something is, DON'T TOUCH IT.

On the top of the folder list, you should see a folder called "Application Support", click that.
Scroll to the "S"'s in that folder until you find Steam, and then click on a folder called "SteamApps".

Inside SteamApps is the files that make nearly every game in your Steam library tick, so don't try poking around in here unless you are certain that you know what you are doing.

Under SteamApps there should be a folder called "common", this contains all non-Source engine games (i.e. World of Goo, Hotline Miami, etc.). If you ever buy a soundtrack from Steam, or a game is said to have bonus content in the root file, it will all be here.

From "common" find "hotline_miami" and the soundtrack should be in a folder in there. I personally don't have the soundtrack, yet, but every other soundtrack follows this formula.

There you go! Enjoy the music, and if you ever buy another soundtrack from Steam, just follow this simple method!
