Fullscreen on Mac
The fullscreen mode on OS X is little bit bugged.

When in fullscreen mode, if you move your mouse to the top the OS X bar appear which slows downs the game considerably.

Also, is pretty common to see both the game crosshair and the os native mouse pointer both appearing simultaneously which confuses a lot.

Has anyone also having these problems?

I have, but it's not only the bar but also dock shows up on the bottom of the screen. It not only slows down the game, but places the focus on these menus leaving you vulnerable and pathtic on the seedy floors and alleyways of Hotline Miami. Apparently this is how Mac OS functions from Mountain Lion onwards (I recently updated from ML to Mavericks, though).

Still having this issue on Yosemite. Game is unplayable when shooting dudes higher up on the screen.

This bug makes the game way too hard to play past the first few chapters.

This bug is ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but may be the fault of OSX behavior.

If this bug was because of OSX, I'd assume I would have seen it on one of my other 45 OSX friendly steam games, which I haven't yet. It would be sweet if they fixed this, but I'm not too hopeful.

I completely forgot where I read it, but it was a programmer from either Feral or Aspyr on their boards explaining how they specifically needed to code a workaround to disable the dock - and it became more complicated with some games/engines after Mountain Lion. So each time you aren't bothered by the dock, I assume, being a total layman, someone sat down to disable it.

Yeah I'm experiencing this too. Really a pain in the ♥♥♥; the game is unplayable past the first few levels.

ya, this pretty much ruins the game. you essentially end up with 2 different cursors/ crosshairs, and it's hard to judge how to move them. And the top menu / frame drop pretty much kills the vibe. Anybody know a workaround (on mac, and please no "get a pc"). Any chance the devs will address this? I know they are busy with the sequel, but I'm sure there are many people that play this game on a mac.

For what it's worth, I switched to using a 360 controller on my mac, and this game just got 100x better.

How did you get the controller to work on Mac?

MacOS drivers[tattiebogle.net]. Use 0.11 for Yosemite and 0.12 for Mavericks and below.

I have the same problem. Not a huge fan of controller aiming so I hope they fix this because it messes up the game pretty bad.
