Crashing on Launch

Updated version crashes on launch- white screen and then windows tells me HotlineGL.exe has stopped working. Debug.log is completely empty. I've already tried verifying and re-installing. Here's my dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/gdHAT87b

Hey, I recommend you use Intel Driver Update utility[www.intel.com] to make sure you're running the latest version of available graphics driver for your Intel Graphics.

I'm no dxdiag expert but the errors at the bottom may indicate your driver is not up to date and have problems with OpenGL.

I had the same problem. I'm using a laptop that switches between integrated graphics and a dedicated Nvidia GPU depending on my preferences. If the above solution didn't work, the following one did for me:
Right click the desktop, select Nvidia control panel. Select 3D settings->Manage 3D settings, then go to program settings. Click add program to customize, select HotlineGL (not hotlinemiami_original, or anything else), then have it use the high performance processor. You may need to browse your apps: in that case it should be under program files/steam/steamapps/common/hotline_miami.
