Gamepad issues
I'm playing on a mac with a Logitech F310 controller. I can use JoystickMapper to allow my computer to interpret input from the controller as whatever keyboard/mouse controls I want.

However, Hotline Miami picks up my controller and wants to do this all on it's own. That's great, except it seems like this game ONLY wants Xbox360 controllers. My buttons are all mapped wrong.

Is there a way to either 1. disable the gamepad in the game without unplugging it, 2. remap the controls, or 3. get support for a controller other than the Xbox one?

I'm having a similar issue. It really sucks at handling controllers - If I have my rudder pedals plugged in it only wants to take input from them. Over the keyboard and mouse!

The only solution I have come up with is to physically unplug the thing - hopefully this will get fixed some time as it's clearly a bug :(

Don't let it put you off though, the game is awesome with keyboard and mouse :)

Solved - play in original mode :)

Original mode removed all gamepad detection. I've tried with a Logitech F310 and a Steelseries 3GC. It appears as if the controllers are not plugged in but they are. Switching back to Update mode incorrectly maps the keys of both controllers. It appears to map the A button to the Right stick click and the A button to the down D pad with the Y button mapping to the up D pad.

I'm not familliar with how to debug gamepad problems on a Mac. Is there a utility which will output button mapping information?
