Gamepad mapping incorrect
I've tried two gamepads, one which identifies as a Dragonrise, Inc controller and the other as a Logitech Dual Shock controller. Each one has buttons incorrectly mapped. Left stick press is the A button. A button and Y button are D pad down and up directions.

The strange thing is I can use this Pure Data object called []

to inspect the output of both gamepad's buttons. It looks like the buttons all work correctly. How can I use this controller with this game?

No idea what messes with the mappings but it's worth trying to turn on/off "rumble" and "swap trigger/bumper" in the launcher.

I had a similar issue with my X360 wired controller, but only with the updated version. Try selecting the original version when you launch the game.

Thanks for the tips. I figured I could buy a PC gamepad and it would "just work". It didn't but check this out! I found a free utility called USB Overdrive for Mac OSX that can remap any joystick/gamepad to any other input device. It even works with Yosemite!

It's totally awesome and I just played through the whole game including the RIDICULOUS final boss with settings I made myself. I'll post my XML config later but I'm on a high from finishing the game right now!!!
