OpenAL32.dll missing?
Hi, I'm writing this because I'm having some issues when launching the game, and the information in the FAQ can't help me.
The thing is that everytime I try to play the game and I press start on the launcher, a system error window tells me that the game can't start because OpenAL32.dll is missing in the computer.
I've tried reinstalling the game and updating the drivers several times, but it won't work. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me.
Thanks.

Hello, have you tried the fixes in this thread? :)

I had this problem too, I didn't exactly fix but found a work around, if you choose original on the launcher it should work.

This is not a proper solution, you should really avoid playing Original when possible. There are known fixes which you can find in the link on my previous post ;)

I had this same problem too. Just download this; it installs an updated version of the missing file. http://support.focus-home.fr/oalinst.exe I grabbed this from a gog.com forum, and it fixed the problem for me right away without any hassle.

This will work but as a good practice, you should not use random executables from the net (which can expose you to security threats) and use official redistributables. For Steam this is easy because they can be found in the game's folder (see the link in my first post for details), but I must admit this is something GOG still has to improve on ;)

I'm well aware how the internet works, but thanks ;)
