i dont know what diddly darn happened
so i am a very silly goose and i don't know how to fix this so if its really simple to fix im sorry ahead of time lmao

but basically one day i tried playing hotline miami and this happened:

i uploaded this video a while back but the same thing is still happening to this day no matter where i launch the game
please please please help

Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> launch HotlineGL.exe.

What happens?

No problem. Does it work as well if you launch it via the library instead of the icon?

hey wait is there any way to fix that or do i have to do what you told me to rather than a shortcut or steam library from now on?

I genuinely don't know why it doesn't work when you press "Start" in the launcher as it is supposed to do exactly the same as launching HotlineGL.exe.

If you wish to launch it using a shortcut you still can, just right click on HotlineGL.exe and make a shortcut on the desktop ;)

Maybe verifing might help? Its weird how this small bug happens.
