Hello, you will find possible fixes in this thread :)

sorry for offtop, but what is the difference between updated and old versions?
Skymirrh Jun 14, 2014 @ 9:16am
Updated version is more stable, features score leaderboards, additional PC preorder bonus level (also known as PS3-Vita bonus level), fixed achievements, offers the possibility to change languages, resolution, and play in windowed mode.

Same for me, man. gtx 560ti driver version 337.88. Other openGL games work fine.

Nothing seems to make any difference.

Does the Updated version got different system requirements then specified in steam store page ?

Not that I know of. What is your hardware? Also, could you upload the file "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\HotlineMiami\debug.log" on http://pastebin.com/ or something and post the link here?

http://pastebin.com/5TfwULhD dxdiag info.

debug.log is actually empty (0 kb)
I close the hotline miami process by task manager. I think it dont write any data to debug.log because I close it by task manager it dont crash by itself. I did wait up to 5 minutes before i force close it by task manager.

Have you tried disabling Steam overlay? Do you have any application that adds an overlay or splash image at beginning of games?

I tried disabling Steam overlay - still nothing. I have no other programs with overlays.

Huh... You're the first one with such an issue. Your card seems compatible with OpenGL 2.1 so I see no reason as to why it would not work, and it doesn't seem to crash as with others, it just doesn't launch.

It may be a problem with the game being unable to load to your launcher settings. Have you tried launching the game as administrator?

Yep. Nothing. I tried to delete config file- doesn't help.
