random slowdown

the game ran perfectly yesterday but when i'm trying to play it right now it just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chugs in slow mo. my laptop is above decent for this game.

If it was working yesterday, it means something changed on your end and is messing with the game. Some things you could try:

• If you're on a laptop, make sure you're plugged in and that your power plan is set to "High performance".
  
• If you're on a laptop with switchable graphics, make sure the game uses the dedicated GPU.
  
• Disable any overlay/application with an overlay.
  
• Disable any recording application.
