Single player campaign is not working

Bought World In Conflict SA, the network mode is started, the single player campaign after the loading screen gets tightly, even introductory videos are not shown. In what may be the problem, help please?

Everyone's having these problems with the game. Why isn't Steam doing anything about it?

The problem is solved. Removal of the WIC and WIC SA and reinstalling only WIC SA.

Thanks I will try that. Thought might not work cause this is a Win XP game and Im running Win 8

always verfy game intergity to make sure all files where downloaded

I'm not really sure what is causing the problems, but i have the same problems and i fixed them through these method. Go to your game files and find the thing that says game option. Make DXflag10 0 instead of 1 which makes it run in DX9 mode. Then go into game and make game windowed. You can now use any settings you want. Not sure why, but that is how you can solve the problem.

2016 and still can not play the campaign. Start the game and then it's just black screen after loading and never starts.

The game used to work 3 years ago. Trying to replay now with all of the suggestions above and none of it works. They should refund our money if they can't force the developer to support a now broken game

I tried to get a refund the other day since support from Steam or the developer don't exist and the game is broken. Steam does not honor the refund because it is past the date and we've played the game. not totally their fault but pretty lame they can't get the publisher to fix a broken game. won't be buying from steam for a while or especially from Ubisoft.

Same here, I was eager to play Soviet Assault since I really liked the WIC campaign but when the Soviet Assault loading is complete I end up on a black screen.
By using the escape key I can get to see the map but I'm Parker in the USSR army ?? No objective, well the game is f***** up...

Same with me. I just bought the game yesterday and completed the tutorial but unable to play single player. This sucks.
