Contoller support?

I was wondering this too, too many flight games nowadays don't due to the fact that anything released for both console and PC has to have retardedly simplistic controls for the PC...

So I decided to buy the game and see if the joy stick works. And it does! lol. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D and it is awesome. One problem, though. I find that when I make very sharp turns it seems to fire off flares or rockets. And I'm not sure why this is happening. I don't know if it's a problem with the game or it's my joystick, which I just bought, not even 3 weeks ago. And I've used the joystick with War Thunder, without any problems what so ever. So I feel like it might be a little hiccup with the game, or maybe a combination of this joystick with this game. Not sure. But to answer the question -- Yes, HAWX supports a joystick. Didn't even have to configure it. Happy Flying!!

That may be the problem. Not sure about Stick, ofc, but the flare button on the Pad is
on the frickin' Left Stick Button. Maybe something similar you accidentally press while
pushing your joystick hard.

I'm looking at the default controls right now, and none of them are conflicting. Do you think I should just set a custom mapping?

Not nessecarily, is it possible to only adjust (as opposed to complete custom setup)?

And I wasn't talking about conflicts - If you see none, there shouldn't be any.
My thing was about pressing that button when I don't even want to - just because of the
way it is set up. The stick is used for flying, and during hectic manoeuvres, the stick
button is pressed by accident, releasing a flare even though I don't want to.

I just assumed it maybe a similar issue, since you have some default setup.
On the other hand, I may be completely wrong ;)

xbox360 controller works with reciever (most people have) but i use joystick u can get it by the most gamestops for maby $5

Why can't i map a custom button for Assistance on/off? and all my buttons are labelled all funky, ie. GPAD_BTN5 etc...
