tldr: game sucks why do you even care.
I've been never spoke against any game before, because i like to try out every FPS games, doesn't matter its meta score etc, but i feel endangered conservation so close to myself, because i take part in it, and i feel this game as a big dishonor to the people who killing so much effort into a better thing.
Otherwise, there would be a solution which might be make this game looks even more stupid, namely a compulsory texture mod for the animals what players get when they buy the game, which gives animals metallic parts that let seem that animals are not really endangered animals, but some kind of cybernetic creatures. And maybe that would turn the game into a more surviving game what so many people stating.
nah, im pretty sure they endlessly respawn.
I see no fun in this.
And sportsman hunter are most likley licensed, obey the laws when they go hunting and probably do the same while fishing....if they dont, they get fined.
Now poachers are basicaly criminals and their career is breaking the law, just the same as any other scumbag, I doubt any kid is going to decide to be a poacher playing this hunting simulator.
And the idea that video games are the cause of real life postal idiots is wrong, otherwise millions of people would go postal. What that means is...normal people can play games and function without killing people.
When a human being goes on a killing spree its because there is something wrong with them, its not hollywood , video games or any other media and their going to go whacko with or without any type of media.
Their have been whackos freaks for centuries, long before the invention of radio, tv, theater or any other media.serial killers and nutcases are going to do what they do, they always have and always will.
Be gone member of PETA!
Member of PETA? The guy is a furry. Probably afraid that the game will teach us all to be super bad ass hunters and we will kill off the all the at risk animals he hopes to couple with before he dies.
Furthermore, who cares about all the money people have spent... or the time they dedicated? Animals go extinct, it is the way things work. All humans do is move the process along. Tell me... what do Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs do for us or the ecosystem that we can't live without? The only thing I can think they would deprive me of, if extinct, is the amazing thrill of one day going to africa and paying for the right to bag one.
I am not an animal rights activist, I am a real hunter and I enjoy going out and hunting animals for food. This being said however, your argument about what is the real, if any, value of a lion etc. is very naive. Without a balance of everything in an ecosystem, the ecosystem can become unstable and mass amounts of animals can die either from being hunted by preditors or from overpopulation (which will eventually lead to starvation becuase there will not be enough food for all those animals to survive). Everything in the ecosystem has to be put into check. Hunters help keep the ecosystem balanced by hunting healthly populated animals like deer or elk and making sure that other animals don't overpopulate. Lions, Cheetahs, and Leopards help to by hunting healthy groups of animals and the overpopulated species. So, when we take these carnivores out of the equasion, we as humans don't have enough hunters to ensure that the rest of the ecosystem doesn't get upset and reek havoc on the earth through overpopulation of certain species. All of this being said, I have never been to Africa to hunt, nor do I plan to. This is a fun game that I like to play with my dad and it has absolutely no impact on the environment. All it does to me is provide entertainment. There is nothing wrong with hunting, as long as it is done responsibly.
