You can spawn stuff by writing it down. That's it. One gimmicky mechanic.
Just for example...>"Oh nooo, my dog is hungry, what ever will I do?"
Of course you should spawn some dog food, but that's no fun. This is where the game leaves you trying to think of the most ridiculous thing possible to feed to the dog.>spawn raw meat
Animation could have saved this game, as actually seeing the dog eat whatever you gave him would be kinda funny.>dog moves its head back and forth, a bunch of smoke effects, the meat disappears
Except the animation is so basic it's painful to watch.
All the "puzzles" happen like this and it's boring. This is one of those games that you keep coming back to, hoping that this time you might be able to squeeze some fun out of the engine, but it always ends up disappointing. So much unexplored potential. It has a cool gimmick but no idea what to do with it.
