The concept of Scribblenauts is fantastic, and the graphics are awesome, but this game is really let down by how unbelievably easy the "puzzles" are. And yes, being creative is half the fun, but if puzzles are as easy as "oh no a pipe is leaking we need something to catch the water", or "my dog is hungry" then the novelty of something as strange as a pipe leaking into a swimming pool, or dogs eating enormous waffles wears off really quickly. What's more, an alarming number of the problems can literally be solved just by typing the word "gone", which takes another level of fun out of it.
Everything else about this game is great, and I think it'd be fantastic for teaching kids about spelling and problem solving, but how unbelievably easy it is just ruins it completely for me. A few harder puzzles here and there, even if they were optional, would make this game infinitely more fun.
