Disclaimer: All answers are my interpretation of Almir's answers as quoting him word for word would be long and difficult. If you would like to view the video and interpret it on your own, the link is above.

Almir: Please feel free to edit this if you have any issues with how I interpreted your answers. And again, thank you for having the QA. ; )

Gonna avoid the silly ones, like "What magical power does your beard have?" (The answer was permanent haste), and those that aren't specifically aimed at Payday 2.

Q: Word has it that you are working on a heist with someone else (crossover). Is this true?
A: No confirmation, as the level designers would kill him if he did.

Q: Are you planning on adding the GL40?
A: They will probably hold off on the GL40 until they see a proper reason to put it in.

Q: Are there going to be more interactive, less bag throwing-intensive heists?
A: They would love to do a number of new unique heists in the future.

Q: Did the Gage Weapon Pack count as the 5 DLCs?
A:The mentioned 5 DLC was part of an agreement with 505 games, and that in no way meant that they would only make 5 DLCs. Overkill is committed to Payday 2 long-term.

Q: Are there ever going to be any assassination missions?
A: He love to do them. In the end, it all relies on what the level designers want to do, combined with what their plan is, and what you guys want. They read and listen to what you guys say as well.

Q: How does a game that revolves around shooting cops and stealing things has never been openly controversial and bashed by mainstream media?
A: He had no idea why it has not.

Q: Is there going to be a trading system for Payday?
A: Like Steam Workshop? They would love to do something like that, but there is no official news about it right now.

Q: WHEN WILL YOU FIX THE GAME??
A: A software is never 100% functional, and whenever they add something new sometimes things happen. Feel free to post in the bug forum, and if you dont recieve a response there, you are always welcome to email them at: info@overkillsoftware.com

Q: Cloakers? What is going on there?
A: Not ready yet. They are NOT holding the cloakers for fun, or that they will release them for $50. Cloakers will be released when the time is right and for free, of course. And Overkill is still working on making them even cooler in the process. And there might be a Cloaker beta to test them out in the future.

Q: Safehouse customization coming soon? Like around Christmas?
A: More likely some point in 2014, but don't worry about having a pretty cool Christmas.

Q: Is there going to be a Season Pass?
A: It looks more and more like they aren't doing that. If they do make plans to release a Season Pass, Almir will let you know as soon as possible.

Q: Is there going to be a Linux port? If not, why?
A: Time is what holds such a feature back, but he doesn't see any reason otherwise. Perhaps with enough support? #PD4LINUX

Q: Have you thought about making a competitive mode? 14:07
A: Yea, but they are focusing on the coop mechanics of the game. Overkill currently does not have plans to do a VS. mode.

Q: Is Overkill looking at a Stealth revamp?
A: Not at this point, but if there are going to be any changes, it will happen after the New Year.

Q: When will the DLCs be coming to consoles?
A:Overkill is working hard on the patching to allow them to come to the consoles, but the big thing is time. They will announce their release dates for consoles in the future.

Q: Planning on Overkill 100+ difficulty, level cap increase, and Overkill 145+ mode, or something similar?
A: Yes, Overkill did it for Payday: The Heist, so why not do it for Payday 2? Will they release something along those lines before the new year? No

Q: Will there be any other classes?
A: Almir would love to see a new class, but again, time. We will see what happens.

Q: Steam stats for Payday 2?
A: Valve helped them to make it for Payday: The Heist, so perhaps we should badger them both for it. ; )

Q: When will the birthday winners receive their rewards?
A:If you won, and didn't receive your reward yet, send Almir an email: almir@overkillsoftware.com

Q: Weapon camouflage or skins?
A: It depends on you guys. Why not?

Q: When will the female heister be released?
A: They are looking for a voice actor, and working on other things with it, and all of it takes time. But Overkill is not releasing her before the end of the year.

Q: How can I donate to Overkill? I love you guys!
A: The best way you can support them is to buy the games. (And apparently, to support Valve to release Half-Life 3) ; )

Q: Will Gage give us jobs soon?
A: Who knows? Maybe he will trust you enough in the future. ; )

Q: New shotguns for Enforcers?
A: We shall see.

Q: Removing mask items without losing them?
A: It is a difficult project to do, and not up to Almir personally to decide. More part of Goldfarb's department.

Q: New voice lines and intro dialogues?
A: Almir has high hopes they will add more. And no, they will not be in a DLC.

Q: 7-day heist? 23:35
A: "First of all, we never said there would be a week-long heist." (Actual quote) But in all honesty, the forums seem to show players hating on the multiple day heists. Unless a #7dayheist movement gets going, Overkill will likely continue focusing on making sure we get that Payday: The Heist feel (ie, longer one day heists).

Q: How is the Russian translation going?
A: Really well. Currently in QA session. Dutch as well. And, of course, no language as DLC. ; )

Q: Any news on the Secret?
A: It wouldn't be a Secret then, would it?

Q: Classic weapons, like M1 Garand?
A: Almir would love to see that, but like all things, time and players really wanting it.

Q: Custom clothes/armor?
A: Things take time, so keep your hopes up. Overkill will continue work on Payday 2 for quite some time.

Q: Any older heists from Payday: The Heist coming to Payday 2? 28:35
A: It would be awesome to do, however the level designers would like to do more new stuff than old stuff, and it takes a lot of work to convert those maps to do so. As of now, no plans to make it happen though.

Q: Zombie apocolype heist?
A: Almir thinks they will focus on the robbery aspect, but who knows?

Q: Any plans on adding masks for completing something, like the golden masks?
A: Again, why not?

Q: Will you buff grenades?
A: He is looking at the feedback from the community and next week will decide if to buff them with an update.

Q: Could you tease us with any future DLC names?
A: He doesn't want to spoil things for you. That and Bo would likely torture him.

Q: What happened to the web series?
A: They are actually working on the next episode right now. And here is some trivia for the upcoming episode: Some of the actors are actually people from the Overkill crew.

Q: When will we see full patch notes for the DLCs?
A: Hopefully Almir get that out in the coming week. He has just been so swamped lately.

Q: Heists outside DC?
A: Why not? Who knows what happens?

Q: Will there be more banks?
A: Overkill will introduce more banks when they are able to, but he can't tell you when it will be released.

Q: Troll masks?
A: Who knows? We will see what happens.

Q: Importing Payday: The Heist masks?
A: It takes time to set them up into the new system, but why not?

Q: I'd like a gas mask please.
A: Almir might have seen a 3d artist working on one in the office, but he is not sure. We will see what happens.

Q: In-game challenges coming to Payday 2?
A: Overkill chose not to do it in the beginning, but what they would like to do is utilize the achievement system in a similar fashion. As for random achievements, they will keep the feedback players have given on it in mind (Almir mentioned kicking the Guessing Game creator in the rear).

Q: Is there going to be a map as big as Heat Street?
A: They have seen the fans have been calling out for bigger heists, so are taking that into consideration for new heists.

Q: Will there be a Payday (real life) merchandise store?
A: Overkill is discussing it with 505.

Q: Will Matt return with a crew of his own?
A: (Seriously, just listen to his full answer, lol. 48:55 #ReturnOfMatt)

Q: Any hints on future heists?
A: As noted before, Overkill is definitly working on more bank heists. (Is that a hint?)

Q: Any Military related heists?
A: Another why not?

Q: Any chance you can speak to us about the Thing?
A: "Dude I have no idea what you are talking about; get away from me."

Q: How about a stealth difficulty, like fail a heist if an alarm goes off?
A: He would love to see something like that, but there is no official statement on such a feature.

A: He cannot comment on that.

Q: Will there be more grenade types?
A: If they find a good use for some, we might see them in the future.

Q: Will there be an option to move hostages?
A: Yet another why not?

Q: Advanced video options?
A: If he see a good thread with specific features players would like to see, it would be easier to speak with the programmers to see what we are able to do. If you make it easier for them, Overkill can look into it easier. (ie singular, focused threads, instead of multiple small ones as we do now)

Q: Are you thinking about Payday 3?
A: "Hell yea I'm thinking about it, but I can't tell YOU if we are thinking about it." Overkill is primarily focused on Payday 2, taking things out you don't like; improving/adding things that you do want, and making it better in the long run.

Q: Will we ever be rewarded for stealth?
A: "I don't think you should give people who stealth something extra, like xp or cash." Overkill's game design matches that decision.

Q: Will we be able to carry two bags?
A: It sounds like a cool, but super OP skill, so they will see about that.


Please add anything that I may have missed. I'll admit I skipped a few that seemed repeated, or Almir's response was too much to simplify. Also, it seems Red accidentally stopped recording and we missed one question about adding an "Unconscious" state to NPCs. I believe the base answer was similar to all the other "Would be nice, but time is required." answers.

Just wanted to toss out some helpful info regarding this.

Per Starbreeze's site, no this does not count. There are still 4 DLCs in development.
(The drop-down menu under Games shows PD2 and PD2:AT, thereby telling us what the first officially announced DLC was.)

The whole "why not?" is a PR technique. I use it all the time at work. ; )

What players should really gather from this is the following:
Overkill has a basic direction in mind, and their level design team has many ideas...but they still want to hear focused input from us to get things a bit more streamlined. That means the community as a whole working together to bring ideas to the table in an acceptable format. The numerous, short threads we have sitting around are nothing compared to a single, well detailed, community approved one. ; )

To me, what I think most people want in the game currently is : more various heist.
It means, more heists. And different heists. Where the goal is NOT to grab bags and bring them somewhere. Where there are NO BAGS whatsoever. It's just my two cents but I think it is more urgent than skill tweaks or new skills or new weapons : we need new playgrounds and we want them to be different. I think a majority of players would want that but it is really just an assumption as I am not omniscient and never caried a survey or somethg xD. I might be wrong though ofc.

Wasn't this impossible due to the way the engine recognizes the bags? It's "you have bags", not "you have (1) bag". So grabbing two bags would still return the value of one.

I hate to sound cynical. But we were promised the safehouse customization at launch.

As for the cool Christmas.... Impress me. Halloween didn't.

We were never promised it at launch, only shown that they were planning to have safehouse customization. Feel free to attempt to prove me wrong by providing proof they promised it. I believe Almir has expressed interest in the same thing, so I'm sure he too would appreciate it.
