Randomisation is cool and all but....
There are some things that should be certain in the way of loot. The evidence room in the FBI biulding for instance. Why not just put loot in there as a certanty? So lame not to have anything in there and you miss out on the dynamic stratedgy on how to get it too the truck. #2, take out the cheese sandwitches from malldrashers and all of Valds jobs, it's just dumb - we get the joke.#3 Night club - make all 3 safes a certanty and have them packed with loot.

Basically at this point to me it's just no fun. I'm not in it for the money, i'm in it for the challenge of getting the loot to the truck either stealth or fire fight. When the loot is missing like nothing in evidence room, I just shoot in the air, start over. 1-2 time in a row - 10-15 minutes wasted. It's not frudtrating to me any more, it's just dumb.

You ladies and gents sick of no loot and sammiches too?

Rant over. Happy hunting.

I'll admit that it is dissapointing that there isnt' any loot in the evidence room over half of the time...

eh, can't say it bothers me all that much. but why can't i eat those damn cheese sammiches? or maybe put em in a little ziplock baggie and throw that on my back. it's in a safe for god sakes, it must have some kinda resale value!

I remember spending 4 mins on Diamond Heist trying to drill open the safe in the upstairs office. Fought off cop after cop, fixed teh drill a few times, and it opens....and there's a sandwich. I hate it, but at the same time, it makes me smile....and a tad bit hungry

Keep them the way they are. Not all safes have to have something in them.
Druizza Nov 7, 2013 @ 1:02pm
i agree. Some should be empty or wortless stuff

I understand where you're coming from and I agree. Randomization in the form of cash is really, really annoying, when cash is exactly what's required for respeccing, or to gamble or whatever.

I know they want to do the whole "risk reward" thing, they even said it in one of their patch notes. Do you stay and grab the rest or do you go? Well, if there's sandwiches in all the safes, and the cash is miniscule, the risk outweighs the reward for opening that stuff.

I'd much prefer a system that has a standard amount of cash on a map (i.e 500k, split between gold bars, money, and... cheese). It's your job to clean it out as best you can. The more you clean out, the more cash and the more xp you get.

I think it would stop rushing and it'll focus more on the heists and the thrill. Because, you are right, it's more exciting to empty out that evidence locker

I think some safes should be empty.. especially deposit boxes. I think evidence rooms should ALWAYS have SOMETHING to steal, whether it be one or 50 bags.

However, I would like to see a heist with 'more bags than you can get away with'. I remember reading about an update that mentioned something about having to factor greed into the heist. I'd love the challenge of having to escape with more bags than you can safely move. Imagine Watchdogs with an unlimited amount of bags of coke.. you hold out as long as you can, but eventually you have to think, 'I don't have enough ammo to carry any more bags AND wait for the escape vehicle.' Imagine an escape map where you had no choice but to leave bags behind if you wanted to actually get-away.

I'd honestly like to fail a mission because my greed for bags was greater than my perception of a safe get-away. I feel like that doesn't happen often enough.

No sense wasting those sandwiches...

i think evidence rooms should always have loot. whether its good stuff or bad stuff, heavy or light keep it random. or instead of having a cage door there, just put an actual door there. that way you might be fighting off the cops to drill into the evidence room and then find out theres nothing in there. cause as it is now its a few seconds to pick the lock to know whether or not its even worth it to bother drilling the cage open or not. if you leave it a mystery its better.

i dont think there should ever be a sandwich in a safety deposit box in the bank. that doesnt even make any sense at all. the small isolated safes yea its kinda funny, but you're telling me that theres 10 idiots out there that took a bite of half a cheese sandwich and deposited it in the bank under lock and key??

also, its not even a sandwich. its a piece of bread with a piece of cheese on it. i can only assume this is some sort of inside joke at Overkill

There should be indeed more heists where you have to really work to get away with all the bags and stuff. As of this moment nearly all the heists I do even with random people we usually get all the bags. The only time this doesn't happen is with lower level people who don't have the confidence to stay and clear out all the deposit boxes on firestarter for example.

There should be a moment when you open a safe in a bank or the evidence locker and go like 'holy ♥♥♥♥!! that's a lot of loot, will we be able to take it all?'

The other day I did firestarter and the evidence locker for the first time every had more than 1 thing in it. 4 bags of coke, 2 bags of cash and 2 weapons... we still managed it easily enough though. quickly move the coke and cash by our enforcers and take the weapons along with the server.

Still waiting for that bankheist though where you have like a big pile of cash as in day3 of firestarter that you can actually take. 10-15 bags worth + whatever is in the deposit boxes. I mean like gold heist everytime it's like what 4 bags of gold? (with a low value i think when reflected with the price of an actual goldbar in real life?' and I can't help but think... seriously robbing a bank for 4 bags of gold that's maybe 1 million cash?

I think it was the movie stolen where nicolas cage drills into a vault from below with a thermal lance and melt's the stuff and he only gets like a few bars.. maybe 10 or so and they are worth 10 million becuse that's the 'ransom' he has to pay for his daughter.

I'd love a heist like that also.. something completely out of the box

^^^ THIS is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Risk factor. I would literally like to see up to 500 bags and have epic heists snagging tem all along with you tube videos showing the world. This would be ideal. Tatics= what be best, ALL ammo and aced inspire to make up for no health bags? All aced centry guns? Put more into enforcer and have 75% more ammo looted? What would it take to get it all? This is ten times more eciting to me then going into nightclub abd only having one safe with 3-4 bags of coke. I swear I just did a Gold Bank (PRO JOB), the pay out after 20 minute fire fight.....$748,000 or something like that. Not even worth my time. I needed money. So my certanty is never playing it again for money. Framing Frame ( full crew with smooth talker ) rush all days in uner 15 minutes is what I do from now on. I'm actually a little ♥♥♥♥ed off about that. The minimum amount of $ should be like 3.8 million for 6 bags of gold, 4 money bags on a gold pro job. Meh.

i disagree with op's post. if you want things that aren't randomized like they are, try borderlands 2. you'll quickly realize that the enemies are always in the same place doing the same things. randomness is good.
