Your very constructive feedback will help to make the game better. And what an imaginative name, wonderful, really wonderful. Thank you

so what about this game makes it s#!t? what is the point of your post here? Please elaborate
the point is that as a free player you cant compate those who payed money, my suggestion is not to download it for potential players its a total Pay 2 Win Trap
very true, but that is the changing face of gaming now. What helps, is not to be super competitive.
@ sdsdsd8888

Players pay money for this game to get better items and/or upgrades in a shorter time. But you cannot buy any special item or upgrade which a free to play player can`t get as well. Of course a ftp player needs (much) more time to get the same level, but it is not impossible.

So I don't see your problem. If you don't like the game, quit it and don't waste our time with your "well founded" posts.
Eloquently put. As a free2play(er) Ive stopped playing this. I dont want to pay for the singleplayer campaign. Tbh Id rather go play JA2. I like the concept very much, at least in terms of the strategic gameplay but the actual tactical combat isnt that enjoyable. Maybe as consequence of their f2p model.

That said I wish the devs success & their support team is very good though.

I just hope at some point someone will make a JA game that isnt limited to Alruco so isnt a remake of a prev. version.

Might I remind you JA2 is not abandonware yet, hence you have to pay for it.

As for Pay2Win, I have not spent a dime on this game and am enjoying it very much. True, more for the PvE part (warzones, gotta love 'em!) but even the PvP is good (albeit short and usually very one-sided because of the shortness and the lack of low/mid-level players). In fact, I would imagine paying for better gear makes the game more boring as the challenge disappears. Most of my weapons are looted though I could buy golden weapons, I just do not need them outside PvP.

Two Clicks, have you heard of Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games? That was a sequel to the first one so do not expect great graphics (not that JA2 had great graphics) but it has great replayability due to the possibility of random and user-made campaigns. With user-made campaigns you can even make the missions co-op (as I've done with my brother) (there is multiplayer). If I am correct it is for free at Abandonia (due to its age) but I might be wrong.

The tactical side of the game has lots of room for improvement, right now the maps are extremely linear giving few options of how to accomplish your mission.

I own and have played all the JA games and am playing through the latest ones BiA & CF.... One day if I get really bored I may go back to JA2... but I played over 1000hrs and would just like to remember that game w/ nostaglia. So many new games to try...

But thx for the recommendations. :)

I was just remarking upon the fact that JA2 costs money whereas JA:O is free (more free). Thus if your aim was free entertainment you'd get more bang for your nonexistent buck from JA:O. However, JA2 had a great demo as well, a mission that was not in the full game, so there is that to try for nostalgia's sake (if you haven't already).

I reached the first warzone last week and I must say the warzone is a lot more fun than PvP (or redoing the Gang Boss murder again and again for almost no benefit at all), though even so it is extremely limited when it comes to tactics. In the good old JA games there was a sense of urgency, getting your people placed in a manner that made sure all angles are covered, yet no merc could be flanked. In here I just take my time, move along the preset path and kill everyone I see. If the battlefield were more open with more tactical cover I'd see some tactics as well.

I'm going to stick with this game until it either blossoms or the devs abandon it, but I picked up JA2 for five dollars during the GOG summer sale, and the 1.13 mod lets me play Unfinished Business (or so I'm told). This is twenty or thirty dollars for the campaign, and with PvP, I'd be better off just rushing in all my mercs to get killed, because I lose so much anyway due to way underleveled gear (it's good enough for PvE, but not for PvP), and I still get way more from losing PvP than from repeating PvE missions. Price is not in this game's favor, especially not price-to-fun ratio.
