sometimes you have to wait awile for it to load for the first time, unity player is doing it's thing, you could also try logging off steam and then back on, then relaunch the game. give it some time to load after it hits 100%. try leaving for a few min and coming back in ,see what happens, if it persist contact support

I have the same issue. I've updated yesterday to Maverick. Since then the game is consistently freezing at startup each and every time.

Thanks for the bug report. There indeed seems to be an incompatibility with Maverik and our game.

Is there an ETA on a fix?

Just update unity and recompile should do it.
Just Enable NSZombies and check, but my guess is older version of unity, with apples new maverick and some system changes. Hard to find, especially when apple removed the gdb. Makes me wounder what else the removed.

I have the same problem....

Any idea ?

Can't be fixed unless these "developers" do an easy recompile with newest SDK, and/or depending on the depth of the error, fix 3 - 5 lines of code. Test it for a couple of hours in different maverick systems and older OSX versions. But before that, they should pin a message in the board stating patch release date, and/or current patch status. but hey... who am i to give advice to a studio....

How do I update Unity?
One of Six Nov 2, 2013 @ 4:24pm
I've got a freeze at the loading screen and I'm only on OSX 10.6.8

I'd really like a refund, I've spent quite a bit on this game, and I haven't been able to play for over a month or two.

Lucky you, game says I've been at it for hours. But I've NEVER been past the loading screen. CS says they will help me but bah. To much work to get to a broken "no ap ammo" game.

Creature81, Updating unity isn't your cup of tea, it's the engine the game runs on, which means the developer who has the source code need to update THEIR SDK. It's not your fault here. Lucky for me, I never brough it. I was on my way thou, same day the game froze. I have mailed Steam in regards to removing the game, and get all paying users a full refund. Due to the fact that the game is broken. And the lack of information regarding patch date.

Unfortunately there is currently nothing you as a user can do. This is something we have to fix on our side. From what I have seen it is not directly related to unity so a unity upgrade isn't necessary. We currently don't have a patch date though.
