I think most of the 1k certs guns are just overpriced, i do enjoy the NS Dec...Something, can't remember the exact name. I think i'll stick with the cheap guns and upgrades at the moment.

Do not buy the old ♥♥♥ or g2g rocket launchers. They are a slap in the face of every customer. Buggy and almost worthless even when imagining the bugs away.

the only problem I see are bugs. I still don't regret getting the grenade launcher rifle, but I'll be happier when it actually works properly.

Buy a 2 buster for MAX its great against air. Bulldog for sunderer is good too.

And yet in that time frame a Mosquito could demolish an entire squad with it's rocket pads before being dropped. Air has to have some downside, and currently a lot of the players feel that air assets are too strong as it is. If you're getting shot down by AA in 5-10 seconds, you need to learn to move instead of trying to tank your way into a kill.

(CURRENTLY) the low ones that aren't very good are 100 certs, some 250 certs. All the good and best weapons and upgrades are 1000 certs.

Although I agree with your points, I just have to say I have had the complete opposite experience that you had. The 100 cert bolt action sniper rifle is my favorite (I've gotten 1156 kills with it). Also, I find that the 100/250 cert weapons tend to be the best for some classes/vehicles. I.e. the 100 cert LMG for the heavy is insane. The 100 cert A2G main weapon for the ESFs and the 250 cert A2A main weapon are likewise awesome. However, I play as Vanu, so that might explain the difference.

There are definitely many weapons that should be more like 500 certs. (I'd advocate changing EVERYTHING priced over 500 certs to cost simply 500 certs).

The air-to-air missiles were worth it. I didn't buy them, I used certs earned ingame, but I didn't regret it. I can deal much more damage in the air than before. The 250 cert chaingun will probably increase this even further.

I'm not so sure about other primary guns. They often seem to be a tradeoff. I bought the tank buster for the Liberator and it was worth it too, but it can also be a bit a pain in the ♥♥♥ considering the small magazine size and frequent reloading. Same probably applies for ground vehicle and infantry guns too.

wait what? AA in fact is still very much underpowered.. they can kill a tank within 3 secs but killing them with AA takes forever if you even manage to kill it in 20

Weapons that cost 1000 certs I buy with credit card.
Believe it or not, the game programmers, need money for food.

DERP thats kind of the point.... flak isnt going to even tickle a tank compared to a aircraft with no armour. Any AA Flak should definately wipe aircraft and infantry in seconds but not land vehicles, that said all weapons should be very effective on aircraft..provided your aim is good, as aircraft are not designed to take hits.

They should decrease the cost to 500 certs each, and then double the number of weapons available. (Using the same models as the other guns, but changing some stats slightly). Hence, to unlock everything it would cost the same number of certs, but you get twice as much (and they could make even more $ theoretically this way).

Hmm, are the others good? If so what is the best and most effective rocket launcher to buy?

G2G is amazing, only the air ones are bugged. And as a veteran pilot. I never get hit by ♥♥♥ missle fire anyway.
The G2G launcher has dumbfire aswell as a nice lock. Everybody runs their faction ability and not smoke so its almost guareteed hit

Sidegrades, not upgrade. The weapons in the store are not better in any way than the default ones.

The Default medic/engineer guns are already amazing. And the Heavy's 100cert weapon is the best you can buy.Atleast for Vanu and NC. The Terrans best stick with the Carv.

I just looked and I have 21 hours played in Planetside 2. I have only gained about 230-250 certs in that 21 hours, almost an entire day of my life. Maybe i'm just bad? Lol.

Ye , sorry mate. But in 10 hours, I get almost 500 certs doing all sorts of stuff. 50 certs an hour isn't hard to pull off imo.

"Sidegrades, not upgrade. The weapons in the store are not better in any way than the default ones."

ehh there's a few exceptions here and there, and mainly for vehicles and maybe tr and vs infiltrators.. but better snipers are pretty cheap

I agree, a few select items are upgrades. Like rocketpods , Snipers indeed (some of them).
But overall they've done quite a good job. Especially if you compare it to something like Battlefieeld Play 4 Free. Where all store guns are 30x times better than the starter guns.

*sigh* to clarify things 1 cert is awarded every 250 xp, and 1 kill is 232 xp. also capping a base will be 500-1000 xp. in short its fairly easy to get certs as long as you just roll with the zerg, so quit whining.
