well, i'd check official forums first and see if anything is buzzing around there then all I can say is use the ps2 launcher to repair/validate files in case it's on your end.

Just to make sure, dont' use steam validate/repair, last I heard it was broken and forced a 3 gig redownload. use the one in the ps2 game launcher that pops up before entering the game. Click the gearbox(wrench icon bottom left) called advanced tools then go to Validate Game Assets. Highly doubt it's that but it's worth the try and it's what I would do.

Checked official forums and nothing, well guess this fun is over for the moment. Game is fun but it too damn glitchy at moments. I have no clue what is causing this problem since I haven't installed or removed anything on my PC.

Probably something wrong with your computer

Nothing at all has changed since this morning when it was running fine. Like I said nothing has been installed, removed, no websites checked, hell I didn't even turn the PC off from the last time I played. The PC was up and running and everything that auto updates I have changed to warn me before doing so. I did however notice that when I went to play again it did update one file super quick. Plus I'm not the only one having this problem, there's ten pages on the official forums and a few of those ten from today alone.

if you have an unstable overclock it could cause this, did it to me...

I've been having the same problem and from what I've heard it's mostly happening on 32 bit operating systems. There's a possible fix but it didn't help me. Apparently it works for some people though so good luck;

Maybe a patch will fix it later... :/

Yea, all day today with my Outfit and me(Windows 7 64bit) and I am not Overclocking at all.

Annoying to say the least.

It's happening to me as well. Not every 10 minutes. But it just randomly crashes,

Ok run the game and when the log on box appears -- look bottom left and you will see the Sony Advanced tools icon -- In there use the Validate game files -- This is the important bit -- NEVER USE STEAM TO VARIFY GAME CACH - if you have -- reinstall ... Sony forums had a note about this as it seems it will revert to the original version but the sony end thinks your fully updated.. Well sonmething like that -- hope it helps

99.98% sure everyone that has had this problem has tried to validate the files through the launcher, it doesn't help, it's something probably server side that is causing this problem for most people. Hope they fix it fast along with all the other problems.

I'm getting this too now. Past 2 hours i've had 3 crashes to desktop, and in these 2 hours i've played for about 30 minutes total. On a small note, 2 out of 3 times happened inside ikanam biolab, but I don't think this is related. I do use win 7 32-bit.

Try validating the game files from the game launcher NOT from steam (steam will break stuff).

If you have used verify game cache in steam you should reinstall because it can do some really weird stuff to the game files that the game launcher may or may not pick up on.

How much RAM do you all have? Have you tried going to other continents? Staying in warpgate and seeing if it crashes?

unfortunately, you need to have win 7 64 bit in order to play it properly.
hope they'll release some sort of patch for this
You might be overheating

You can play the game on Windows 32 bits without crashing if you do this:

C:\> bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072
