Your cpu is good, and i think your graphic card works too. Only problem you can have is your ram. 6-8gb or more is good. But run om mid-low settings so should it go fine :)

If I recall, Planetside 2 is a 32-bit program, so Windows won't let it use more than ~2.5 GB RAM regardless. And it could never make use of more than 4. I might be mistaken, but I don't think increasing RAM would make much of a difference, unless you leave things running in the background as you play.

agree, but min requirement is still 4 gigs of ram, figure that one out :) so basically it needs a 64 bit os or a workaround like on vista? that lets a program use more than 2 gigs of ram for 32 bit os'.

Thing is, it worked fine in beta for people that had 2 gigs of ram.

It makes all the difference on a 32 bit OS.

Everything looks good. Install the game and give it a try, if you have issues then upgrade your video card. As always, make sure your system is adequately cooled with proper fan intake and exhaust. For a better explanation check this out:

it might work because the cpu is great, but the gpu isnt really made for gaming though

For future reference, to find out if your PC can handle a game, use http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/

You select a game and this site will scan your PC and will give you a detailed list of what your PC has, if it meets the requirements and what is needed for you to be able to run it.

Now that being said, your biggest holdback is your GPU. I would suggest you upgrade that. Do some shopping around. A good $100-$150 USD card would be good enough of an upgrade to run this. I am running an XFX HD R7770 Ultra Overclocked Black Edition that cost about $160 at Best Buy (seems to be the only place with this verson of the 7770) and I can run this game on max settings with little to no problem even during the large scale battles going on (maby a lag spike here or there). The Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti seems to be about the equivilant to the HD 7770.
