There are a lot of people playing currently. Getting groups for dungeons is relatively easy. One of the towns I visit, Veskal's Exchange on the continent of Thestra, is usually bustling with activity. I even run into random folks out while questing in remote areas and my character is only level 25 at the moment.

As for Dread Knights and Necros, I play a Paladin, but we have a Dread Knight in the guild, that is probably unkillable. They seem very powerful to me, but then again he is a subscriber player. As am I, $15/month isn't that big an expense for my hobby. Subscriber players get to equip a little better equipment, so that might help a tad.

Hope you decide to play (and maybe even subscribe).

Cheers,
Warfield

This game is like an uncut gem and the polishing was never finished. This isnt a game like wow and EQ2 they thought of every detainl also the time between patches are very long I think. The game still needs alot of work today. It's a very open world mmo with open dungeons. The crafting is slower to figure out than WoW's where you just gather and create items very easily. At first for such an old game(7years old) it can seem very dry but it starts to take off at level 12-14 but nevertheless I think it got boring in the late 20's. You realize you need alot of exp and the quest variety isnt that of WoW's. But i guess grouping with friends or people you meet makes the game alot more fun. I wouldn'dt call it a great solo experinece like EQ2 and WOW.
