Reporting a cheater
Can anyone tell me how to report a cheater?

I previously created this same discussion and it was removed - can I also be told why this occured also? Not addressing things like this, and even worse trying to hide them, ruins the game and drives people away.

How are people cheating?

All I could reccomend is clicking on Support in Steam and submitting a ticket detailling your evidence of the alleged cheater with as much information as you can possibly provide in order to legitimize your claim.

Granted that it is a third party program that is licensed to be sold on Steam, I am not sure of who exactly such legal enforcement against cheating responsibility falls to. Usually, if a game is VAC secured, then Steam is directly involved. If not, then most likely the developers themselves.

Is cheating really that big of a problem? I mean it's already easy enough to kill heroes as the DM and you can farm for gold by yourself. If their cheating on campaign they'll run out of things to do very quickly. That just leaves cheating as the heroes vs. DM, which gains you nothing because the gold is minimal compared to DM farming.

I have not encountered any cheaters myself in my games. However, there is no need to divert from the topic. If they are cheating, report them and provide what evidence you can. It is the utmost that one can do.

Ah, you suggest a good idea but it's actually better to Report it on the Paradox Interactive Forums. The game doesn't list people by their Steam ID's and therefore wouldn't be able to locate people from the Self-created Profile name.

Hopefully, this isn't another person thinking a DM is a Cheater because they either used a lot of spells, Is stopping player progress with Walls or Fans, or even is playing so well that they are making Very Easy difficulty feel like Hard difficulty.

Thats what I said Lazyness, you live up to your name.
Read the post. Silly people.

If it is another person thinking that the DM is cheating, the claim will be dismissed.
Thats why you should, in your report or ticket, include as much evidence as possible to support your claim that person X is cheating.

For those curious, the way he was cheating was simply taking no damage.

The reason it is an issue is it takes the fun out of the game, no fear of being downed and the DM cannot win.

are you sure he was cheating? I use my gunner rogue to Hit&Run which allows me to not get hit and still kill the enemy. It might come across as cheating as i don't/barely get hit by anything but it's just skill.
