yes you are screwed, previous owners like me and you who paid for the game and financed the development with buying it dont get anything.
Actually it gets even better people who paid prior for the game have to spent money on it again if they want trading cards so we are treated like normal f2p players.

Yeah that sucks. there is literally nothing we even need to buy. we have all of the dlc and crap unlocked already. and i would atleast like my 3 copies back to give out for the "extra" free edition

previous owners did get something. The paid game. you have the all access DLC for the game if you already paid for the game.

I see I have access to the full game since I already owned it, I still have to buy the dlc, but now I see there's a "complete" pack on there which is the access pass and the dlc with some additional bonus items that aren't included in any dlc. So, to get those bonus items, I'd have to buy the whole game all over again?

the free to play scheme for the game includes limited content... users who previously paid for the game get full access to ingame content and dlc.

I understand that i got the "paid" version of the game. but they took the three copies i had in my inventory away

In such a case, contact Steam support. It could simply be an error or oversight.

Anyway, to those here who are saying you've somehow "lost" something - you haven't. I bought the game some weeks ago, and like you I received the deal that was offered AT THAT TIME.

It was clear, and above board, and you accepted it. Just because they've changed that, it DOES NOT mean they have any duty - morally or otherwise - to give you something extra.

It is the nature of ALMOST EVERY MARKET for products to go down in price and even sometimes get offered for free or as package deals. So, please stop this self-entitled nonsense and understand that this is the real world.

Apologies for the rant, but this sort of ridiculous behaviour is frankly unacceptable.
