Accessable Achievements?

I was looking at the achievemnet list on the game and was wondeing how to get some of these achievements? Will the game accept it if I beat the dragon with a human player controling it in dm mode or do I need to play it in the adventure mode? Also do some of the costumes needed for achievements need to bought in game with real money?
