Game Update 1.04b (Mar 5, 2013)
Hi all,

I've just pushed an update that fixes several outstanding issues with the game (listed below). These are mostly related to Mac and Linux, so I kindly ask users on these platforms to give it a check and report if there are any further problems.

Changes:
* AI crashes (rare) with some community scenarios, notably 1st Kharkov
* Mac: random crashes in scenario editor
* Mac: scenario editor can now load/save user generated scenarios to proper location
* Linux: fonts fixed (fingers crossed)
* Linux: desktop icons

Also, I kindly ask Linux users to report whether fullscreen is working out of the box on their system (please name your distro), or if they had to use "sdl-fullscreen" to get fullscreen to display correctly. I'm interested in the numbers here, so please report either way.

Many thanks!

Tomislav

I am on Kubuntu 12.10 (Ubuntu with KDE interface), 64 bit, and when I use full screen, it still shows the KDE menu bar at the bottom (where it shows system tray, open programs etc)

I can test on an Ubuntu Unity machine a bit later, when I get a chance.

My AV blocks the update and now I cannot play UOC or RT

Wish I seen this earlier

Yesterday I tried to play and the game asked that a re-eneter my cd key, which I did with no problem

Then latter my antiviruse "Norton Security" flagged UoC as a virus. I can not remember the exact issue but submitted a ticket to steam

Could this update be causing a false positive?

I deleated my local save and re-installed and everything seems to be working. Must be something in the way the game updates

I'm running Ubuntu 12.10, and I had to use the parameter in order to see it properly.

I had to go into Norton AV and allow the file in quarantine, then verify local game cache which restored it so I am good now.

This, I'm on Linux Mint 14 though. Uses the same version of KDE and is effectively the same OS under the hood (Ubuntu 12.04).
