Can't set screen size in fullscreen => Tedious
In game options if you choose fullscreen you can"t set screen size. I really wonder why dev did that, it's a really tedious choice, the game use the current screen size, but I don't use the same screen size in games.

The worse is just bellow full screen size option there's a window option where you can choose the size... It was too difficult to add this two pixels above for the fullscreen option????

No it's not a detail, in Mac version icons on desktop aren't used like in windows and change Finder screen size can put a lot of garbage.

Sometimes I don't understand designers/programmers and wonder what they have in mind when they made a decision like that. :-(

EDIT: Since 30 years well programmed games offer a screen size choice even in fullscreen. But nope those dev thought they was smarter than generations of dev and designers. OMG

The game uses a full-screen borderless window rather than a normal full-screen mode (unless you start it with "uoc sdl-fullscreen"), so that is why it always uses desktop resolution (or the borderless window wouldn't cover the whole screen). Using a window means that alt-tab switching is considerably more stable and faster. Games like WoW, for example, offer both borderless window and full-screen modes too.

Borderless window mode is one thing and I do agree it's a good choice in general. But either those other games wasn't a problem in a desktop resolution, either they had also a setup of the resolution in this mode. Not this game, ok it's a detail, I found it tedious. For the trouble with icons ok perhaps not, seems that it's been improved in OSX at least in Snow Leopard.

EDIT: A trouble linked to this point is that many texts are too small for me and their visibility isn't very good, so it makes me use a quite low resolution and it makes more tedious to have to switch it manually before to launche the game and switch it back after.

I agree that the lack of scalable UI coupled with the borderless window is far from ideal.
