If You mean temporarly, in MP games each player can play his turn, no matter if opponent is online
Yeah, Taifun is a bit of a marathon. Playing Taifun MP takes hours.

With 8 players in, I suggest deadline for new players to join till 30.7.There are also matters we need to agree on:
1. Which map will be played and what competitive system (league or tournament)?
2. If league is played, my proposal is to use points system:
brilliant victory 3 pts
decisive victory 2 pts
victory 1 pt
3. If tournament is played we start from q-finals, winners play semis, losers play 5-8 place tournament
Plz post Your ideas
A knockout tournament system would be simpler, but I feel that it's important to distinguish between different outcomes.
I suggest that we play Danielfc's Zitadelle-Kutuzov *New Version* (http://unityofcommand.net/cs/view.php?sid=134) and use the league system, being awarded points as follows:
Attacker Brilliant Victory/Defender Surrender: ATTACKER 3 , DEFENDER 0
Attacker Decisive Victory: ATTACKER 2 , DEFENDER 1
Attacker Victory : ATTACKER 1 , DEFENDER 2
Attacker Defeat/Attacker Surrender: ATTACKER 0 , DEFENDER 3
We could also have everyone play each other player twice - once attacking, once defending. That way there will be higher scores, meaning ties will be less likely, and no-one will be disadvantaged by playing a side (attacker, defender) they're not good at.
It's Ritalingamer from the forums, semi-official community organizer for 2x2.
If you're open to it, we would like the "Official" tournament on the forums to merge into this tournament and be organized through Steam. Is that OK with you guys?
Let me know what y'all think.
Cheers,
Matt aka Ritalingamer
