Are keyboard + mouse controls that bad?
I'm on the fence on buying Runner 2 after recently completing the first Runner. I've heard that the game strongly recommends you to use a 360 gamepad. Is it still possible to play through the game with a keyboard instead? I mean with games like Super Meat Boy where the game recommends you to use a controller, sometimes keyboard works just fine. But with games like Dark Souls.... you NEED gamepad. Also, if keyboard controls are that bad, is it possible to use a PS3 pad instead with the Motioninjoy driver?
Thanks and have a good one.

the keyboard controlls are just fine, you may confuse some buttons with another but this can also happen with a controller

I just finished the game using a keyboard. I had no issues at all. WASD and JK are the only keys you need.

You can use a PS3 controller using Motiondrive, just set it to emulate 360 controls.

you need a keyboard that can handle multiple key presses, otherwise some moves are impossible to do. If you have that, it plays just fine on keyboard! (I have not tried with mouse)

When you say "only keys I need" does that mean I literally don't need them to complete it, or you just don't use others too often?

My keyboard can handle that, though I have seen the controls been spread out to WASD, HJK, the numpad and other keys. Do you actually use all of those just to control CommanderVideo? Or are they simply just binded so you can play with different sets of keys (such as if you're left handed)?

you can use different sets
