I need to hit the stupid target just to get a perfect +...
I figured i'd get bored and try to tripple perfect all the levels, but i'm not doing it if i have to hit the stupid bullseye every time... I can hit it like 60-70% of the time, so that means i'd have to do each level almost twice. The bullseye thing would be fun if it just gave me a couple of extra points, but having it stand in the way of a 'complete' run is just nonsense...

You don't have to hit for it to count on the level as a perfect, the only requirement is getting all of the gold + music cross things in a level.

I'll take hitting the bullseye any day over having to perfect both the level and the retro level in one attempt. Ah yeah, that brings back...memories...(not sure if they're good or bad)

I think you only need to hit the target once in one of the difficulty levels, and then just collect all the cores and gold in the remaining two difficulties.

Once you do the bullseye correctly a few times you start to get a feel for the right timing, then even more you just know by sight and time and feel when to launch. Then after a while you can zone out and rely on muscle memory.

Biggest complaints are world 4 the red was a poor design choice. Visually the red is hard to look at after a while, dark I get, a red glow here and there sure, but not thick red poison clouds. Also, the music is not really different from world to world, I was hoping for real industrial in world 4 or something different. I felt myself looking forward to retro carts purely for the change in music, even though it's great, the game music is not really varied the ENTIRE game. (world 1 retro carts music are my favorite tracks).

The super meat boy team and the bit trip team, same people or jsut freinds? besides cross references they both do the retro cartridges.

I completed all achievements in 23 hours of play time, even though I was a bit annoyed by the bullseye requirement, too. Took me 30 (partially painful) hours for the predecessor though, so that's still okay.

But i can do the difficult part, i just don't want to the wast the man hours playing a silly timing game that i'll occassionaly mess up.
