How do you see how many people beat it? According to Steam, 0.2% of all (PC) players got Triple Perfect+ on every level. Does the game display the exact number? Where can I check this?
I came to that conclusion by seeing the leaderboards yesterday: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=130210130

It is a bit tedious yeah, I started by normal fortunately, and did easy right after, knowing that it would be boring if I did difficult and then got back to easy. I took advantage of playing on easy to find all the retro levels, which I didn't on my first playthrough on normal.
I recommend anyone who wants to finish it at 100% to not start by difficult.
Yeah, I'm starting to realize it might have been a mistake to first beat the game/perfect it on Hard mode. I'm having the same issue of having trouble being motivated to go for perfect +'s on the easier difficulties.
I started with world 1 on normal and thought to myself "maybe I should do easy before I move on." I was bored out of my wits, but resolved to slog through the rest of the game on easy. Going back to easy after doing anything harder really taxes your attention span and patience.
Easy may be a little too gentle. I think Normal and Hard are both pretty well-done though. It was a good romp. I should give the original another try after this, hard as it may be to remember that dancing did not exist back in it. Such a fun little thing to do.

If you're bored of easy start at chapter 5 and make your way backwards. Its makes it bearable.
