So how well do other controllers work for this game?
Figured I'd ask because I read that only the 360 controller is supported, so if anyone else out there is using another controller, is it good/bad/ugly/shutthehellupandbuythedamngamealready?

I use a PS3 controller with MotionInJoy. There is a little delay, but not enough to make the game unplayable.

Swish, I use the same, good to hear. Well that'll be a purchase for me then. Thanks for the help.

Used Logitech F310 controller. Worked perfectly.

I use a wireless Wii Classic Controller. Works well enough so far to beat the game with some Perfect+'s scattered about.
For those curious on how I use a WiiMote for this, I made a thread here for it http://steamcommunity.com/app/218060/discussions/0/864960987006807439/ .

Logitech Dual Action (a XBox 360 style controller, which usually works fine) won't work for me. Instead, I use a PS3 controller, which works in Windows when installing the MotionInJoy drivers and setting them to Emulated XBox Controller (and often retrying a few times), or via Plug and Play in Linux.

This. Using a F310, and haven't experienced anything less than perfection.
Whoever told you only the 360 was supported was lying straight-up.

Yup. If a game has controller support, F310 is a great and inexpensive choice. I've never had a game not work when using it as long the game itself supports controllers. Also its very easy to use since it doesn't require installing any drivers. Just plug and play.

I've been using a PS2 controller with JoyToKey for the key-binding, works beautifully =D

I had problems with the 360 wireless controller - d-pad didn't work. The analog could do all the sliding, etc but I don't like to use that...

Bought a Logitech F710. Works flawlessly.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I have the Logitech F310 discussed here and I can't get it to work. Are all of you running Windows or does one of you have it working under Ubuntu? I only have a problem with this game, every other game like the controller just fine.

I'll try the logitech controller.
