Can't run in full screen on Mac?

Seems to just ignore whether or not I check the full screen box and uses windowed mode. Quite annoying. I want to play this game in its full glory!

that should definitely work. could you have a look at the game's config file (~/Library/Application Support/Gaijin Games/Runner2/game.cfg), and post what it says for "Fullscreen" and "Resolution"?

Fullscreen = yes
Resolution = 1920x1080x32

Yet it still starts up in windowed mode, in whatever I set the windowed size to. Hm.

Edit: I am using an external monitor, and it starts up in full screen fine when I disconnect it, so it looks like that's the problem.

I've just tested the game on an iMac hooked up to a TV via display port -> HDMI, and was able to get it running fullscreen on both displays without any problems. to help me figure out what's going wrong for y'all, can I get some more details about your setups? specifically: are you using multiple monitors? how are your display(s) connected to your computer?

I'm on an Early 2011 Macbook Pro hooked up to an external monitor with a mini-display port > HDMI cable (it's my primary monitor, the laptop stays closed).

Edit: Just tried it with the lid of the laptop open. If the displays aren't mirrored, the game will open in full screen on the laptop screen. If they are, and I match the desktop size to the laptop's display, it opens in full screen. But if I match the desktop size to the monitor (so it's full resolution), it will open in windowed mode. My monitor is an Asus VS238, in case that helps.

I have tried with a mac mini connected to my TV with a HDMI cable, and also with my macbook pro (late 2011 I think) connected in my TV using a mini display port to HDMI adapter.
