Half way through world 4 on hard difficulty...does it get harder???

I am even getting perfect+s on the levels and it isn't quite too difficult yet. Challenging, but I want tougher levels lol. Does it get harder?

It gets a bit harder on the last world (World 5) but the game in general isn't that hard and nowhere near as hard as the original, which is a shame I also would have liked the game to be much harder.

If you're going for high scores, the latter half of World 5 should make you tear your hair out.

Hard difficulty is about on par with the original Runner 1, but nothing matches Runner 1's retro challenges.

The final boss in particular was the hardest part of the whole game I found.

Even at the very end this game is kinda easy compared to Runner 1. Play that if you want your ass kicked if you haven't already. This game is more like they made it really easy to know when you have 100%'d it and that's what they want you to do.

This one is easy? Cool, I think I'll actually get it. Hated the first game due to tits difficulty.

I wouldn't necessarily say easy, some levels will definitely need quite a number of attempts, particularly the later levels. There's nothing extra difficult though that can't be done with practice.

If you want it to get harder, skip checkpoints without exception. Then it gets REALLY hard.

(Even with checkpoints, I find the Mounting Sadds's boss to be the hardest in the game, probably because it reminds me the most of the first-world boss in RUNNER.)
