Same problem as with first game - weird motion blurring
I played first game and liked it. After I got my 144hz monitor I tried it out again to see how much better it would be when I would be able to see much smoother motion. I was wrong as game was locked to 60fps and introdused weird motion blurring effect which makes me sick after playing few minutes.

This game has exactly same problem. I just can't play it withouth feeling physically sick.

Trying to be more precise it feels like watching fast moving really badly interlaced video. Game which involves about fast moving enviroment shouldn't have this problem. Damn I can play Sonic Generations just fine and this games speed is almost walking compared to that.

E2: OK my HDD speed wasn't up the task. With SSD it shows no framerate problems at all. What could cause that effect?

This motion blur is horrible. I can't play this. Makes me sick. Its not monitors, its the game. I have plenty of side scrollers and none blurs this bad. This is obviously a console port. Please remove the motion blur or add an option to remove it.

I just installed LightBoost program to my monitor so there's absolutely no lag and motion blur. Now I can see screen tearing without vsync but motion blur actually got lot worse. What's wrong with this game?!?

I get motion blurring on the 2D 8-bit style retro levels. On the main 2.5D levels it is fine though. 60Hz display here.

I really want to like this but I give up. Playing it long enough to get the cards and uninstalling. Too bad there is little to no support for this game. Grabbing a Tylenol.

I love the game, but agree. Really weird blurring. It is hard to keep track of what is happening. I am having too much fun with the game though to let it bother me.

I can't play the game without feeling sick either. There was nothing like this on the first game for me, but I literally had to stop playing within about half a minute because I started to feel nauseous. This is a pretty serious issue. And no, it's not the monitors.

I don't have any blurring whatsoever. This post isn't mean to gloat, but to suggest that it is not part of the game's design.

Must be caused by the different frequencies of people's displays. I have 60Hz display and the sprite-based retro levels are slightly blurred but the main polygonal levels aren't.

Oh god, please excuse the hell out of me for not having a 120hZ OLED monitor.

Yea the motion blur makes me unable to focus my eyes on the screen, and the pop-ups that aren't blurred don't help either, it makes my eyes change focus to try and see them.

I have 144hz monitor and still have the problem even when I have messed with every single option there is and even with lighboost.

Then this further supports the theory that it's something with the game, not our monitors.

Thing is if you capture video or take screenshot there seems to be nothing wrong with it. This is what boggles my mind but it has to be something with the game as every other fast paced games is playable.
Only few graphical settings aren't helping either.

This is not a demanding game. What it looks like to me is a 30fps game masquerading as a 60fps game. Sort off like the Cave. The cave runs at 60fps on fraps but clearly running on 30fps and the blur in that one made it unplayable. Same with Castle of Illusions, but after the latest fix that removed the 30fps cap, castle of illusion became one of the most beautiful remake I had ever seen.
