Skip Intros?

there are alot of intros and stuff, is there any way to skip all that to get into the game faster via any launch options or anything?

I also would appreciate a way to automatically skip all the starting intros.
I've seen that some other games enable this with a -nostartupmovies launch option.

It is an enjoyable enough game that the extra 15 seconds of intro talking/music isn't that bad upon every start up. The problem comes after the rage quitting 10x in an hour and having to go through it every time after that.... =)

I counted. 40 seconds to actually get into the game's main menu in proper. That's quite a bit. Stuff like Deus Ex and Xcom take 10 seconds to do the same.

Yes, please add a way to skip them. Normal people don't like to be forced to watch them each and every time the game loads. If others like them that much, then they don't have skip them. For the rest of us normal people, it's obnoxious as hell.

I always find videos you can't skip to be quite arrogant on the part of the developer. "Look at me, I'm so good I know you'll want to listen to this thing I made over and over again"

Force it the first time sure, but after that give me a way to skip the annoying intro. This applies doubly in my case as I tend to have an audiobook in the background or video on my 2nd monitor and play with the music off. So now I have to pause the video, launch the game, alt-tab out, unpause the video, switch back to the game. All because somebody thinks I'll really love listening to Charles Martinet say the same crap over and over.

Maybe we should call up the devs repeatedly and play the same message down the phone, see how they like it...

its weird i get games that do it on the first load, but not every time. I mean it hurts those of us who like the game because we play it the most but are forced to sit through it everytime.

All it does for me is make me hate the dev more because its so annoying and having their name everytime reminds me exactly who we should blame and hate which kinda has the opposite effect of what the dev wants i bet.
