OK. Did you try something like this?

1) One person starts an internet server. (HOST)

2) Friends who are joining you should search for internet server. Make sure they search in the same region as the HOST.

If no one is hosting games at the moment, the server list is empty. So it's great if someone hosts a game.

Unfortunately, there's no dedicated server or something for this game.

I start the Internet Server and my friends cant find it. we always make sure were in the same zone and i tell them the name of the server. We will keep trying. if you can come up with any thing that might be helpful please respond again. i just wanna kick monster butt with my friends...

WHY IS NOTHING WORKING!? I've tried everything i can find on forums and websites, ive gone through the Dins Curse manual multiple times, I can never see nor search for any servers in any zone, i have port forwarded a multitude of different ports, IP direct connect does nothing, I've made sure my internet connection is at least moderate, I tell my friends the server name and zone if i try to set one up. I don't understand why nothing is helping with my problem. I really need help...

1) Do you and your friends have the same version?

2) Also, non-expansion players are unable to see players with the expansion installed.

3) Have you tried having your friends host instead?

4) Are you behind any kind of network (school, work, etc?)

5) Also, when the "Get More Servers" is available, have you tried clicking on it? Sometimes I won't see any servers until I click on that button.

If you're having problems still, you can add me on steam to have a go at it.

i have a wireless, secured home network. I will have my friend set up a server, or atleast try to. I do not have the DLC and neither do my friends. I have clicked on the Get More Server button whenever i can, but nothing comes up. My friend has tried this too. We checked to see if we had the same version, which we do (1.026), while i was reading your response. we think its probly #4 thats messing us up. Thankyou for all the help so far.

school and work network will block these access plus its low bandwidth to play games.
its cater for just surfing. maybe thats the case. hmm u guys should get demon war expansion.
the 100 waves invasion will add tension if u can play with friends. more interaction with npc and nice stories

Like I said, I have a home network. I have never had any trouble (at least not like this) when playing other games. As far as i can tell my comp and or network are just giving me a huge middle finger. I want to get the DLC eventually but my friends are often short on there own cash and won't be getting it for a while, so i want to play normally with them as much as i can. So far I am glad i purchased Din's Curse, its really a great game. I just wish someone would come in here with an easy fix. My friends consider me a computer god since im the only one who knows how to forward ports for minecraft/terraria/TF2/ect. games, but im actually really stupid when it comes to this technical crap. Once again thankyou for your help guys. I will keep trying when i can.

It looks like I missed this thread. :(

Some things like can make a game invisible: players are using incompatible versions (different patch levels), one player is using the expansion pack and the other isn't, the server has a password set (need to use the search function to see the game in this case), or you are in different zones.
