I believe they are. Because the "Adventure Games" came in separate chapters that you had to (pay for, if out of UK) and download each time they were released. So Yes, I do believe they are in fact the exact same thing.

They are not the same thing at all, avioni & xlonenobodyx

Eternity Clock came first. It's a sidescrolling platformer with puzzle elements.

Doctor Who: The Adventures is an adventure game, platformer style movement but in a 3D world (movement in all directions) with point and click elements. Furthermore. it consists of five seperate adventures (only four were released worldwide):
1 "City of the Daleks"
2 "Blood of the Cybermen"
3 "TARDIS" James Moran
4 "Shadows of the Vashta Nerada" Phil Ford
5 "The Gunpowder Plot"

They were also developed and published by totally different companies:

Doctor Who: The Adventures
Developer: Sumo Digital
Publisher: Legacy Games

Eternity Clock
Developer: Supermassive Games
Publisher: BBC Worldwide

The Adventures came a couple of years before Eternity Clock, but was released after Eternity Clock on steam.
