There`s a little trick to it tho. Keep Arkail in defense, and let him attract attention. Then let Styxx kill off the 'zerks one by one.
If Arkail is about to go down, just move away in ranged, run a circle, revive Ark when he`s down, and rinse repeat.
You could even throw a potion or a goblin when he gets up, for a small breather in the fight.
:/ not the best tactic tho... but it`s one that worked.
Either way, concentrate attacks on 1 zerk attatime. They have to go down as quickly as possible, for obvious reasons.
Hated the controls from the outset and when it got to this fight i lost all intrest in this crappy horrible game, Why Crap and horrible well simply it's because of those controls if it wasn't fo rthose controls I'd be saying somehting compleatly different there.
Oh and wow people are still buying/playing this rubbish!
Stunned opponents don`t do much harm. And destabilized opponents are easier to hit.
:/ for stun attacks you`d need to level up the skills right tho...
I think I had my share of fun with poison daggers as well. But the fight still dragged out a bit longer than I wanted despite of it.
In my experience pretty much every fight could be stun to win.
The biggest annoyance with the game for me was when you got stuck in endless revives, one character going down as they revive the other with only 10% life again & again over & over. It happened quite a bit & could really drag out battles.
heh, I just got to this point, was tired of the 'revive, maybe one hit, revive' fight, and quit out and came here to see what people thought.
The art in the game is excellent, though it suffers a little from 'gritty means it must be dark!'. The plot is acceptable, but nothing special, though it's nice playing an orc. The gameplay... needs to be thrown out and replaced. The level design comes from Ye Olde Ruler school of linear mappage. The combat doesn't seem to be particularly tactical, yet there's heaps of micro in it. I've spent the entire game thinking 'oh, it'll get good soon, perhaps'.
So the gameplay is run forward a few yards, have a tedious fight or cutscene, run forward a few yards. Make sure you explore the mostly-empty tiny branches because you can loot things - it's just that those things are rare and the highlight on them isn't particularly visible.
The graphics engine is solid, I like the slow mo, no crashes, but the rest of the gameplay needs to be replaced.
Also, in the prison level the give you a stick, and with well placed atributes and skill you might succeed. I was actually really easy.
I died once that level, (From an enraged Arkail urghh) but with a Styx that had a nearly fully perked out Ranged system and stun bombs with an AOE stun effect I murdered those guys fast.
