So how does it compare to Mars: War Logs?
I played and really enjoyed Mars: War Logs which is made by the same dev team. While the combat was rather janky, the writing was very enjoyable and I was a big fan of the atmosphere and setting. The setting of this looks to be interesting as well, so can anyone who has played both make any comparisons?

Orcs and Men is more strategical, less fast-paced and also more difficult. I enjoyed the gameplay a lot more than in Mars War Logs, especially since in OaM there are more different types of enemies and several playstyles and ways to build your characters are viable.

The graphics are better than in Mars War Logs, the story is more epic and cool and the music is way, way better.

The writing is worse than in Mars War Logs, since for some reason writers think they have to repeat everything twice. So much long-winded talking... but still there are some fun banter and cool lines in the game. Also there is a lot of immature and unimaginative cussing.

I liked Orcs and Men a lot more than Mars War Logs, even if MWL was still fun. Orcs and Men has better pacing, more beautiful and varied locations and I absolutely loved it.

Thanks! Sounds like something I'll definitely give a shot then, when the price is right.

Bumping this so other people can weigh in. Like the OP I also really liked Mars: War Logs (combat and atmosphere especially) and I'm wondering if Of Orcs and Men is in any way like it.

Just started playing. For me it's way better than Mars. That game was an abomination.
