RE5 only Resident Evil title NOT on sale during the June Resident Evil Sale

REbirth, RE Zero, Revelations 1 and 2, RE4, and RE6 are all on sale.

The Resident Evil bundles and collections are on sale.

And although Resident Evil 5 is listed on the sale, it is still the normal price.

Is this a mistake? Why is RE5 the only title not on sale during the Resident Evil sale?

RE5 is great, loved every minute of it.
RE6 is garbage.

I'm tempted to pick it up but it appears to just be the old base game. Possibly the GFWL version?

Would it upgrade to the current Steam base version if one were to purchase it on Origin? Like how retail copies of Super SFIV went from GFWL to Steam after GFWL was abandoned?

Yes on Origin its the GFWL version which sux I know and no you cant use the code from Origin to use it on Steam, you have to use it and download it trough Origin.

Are you sure you can't use the code from Origin on Steam? Because in the RE5 sticky it seems like you should be able to.

Would also like to know that. Since it's either buy it now on Origin for dirt cheap, but with a chance to get shafted in terms of GFWL, or wait for the Summer Sale and buy it on Steam properly.

Got an e-mail that specifically listed this game as being on sale, but it didn't show up on my wishlist so I was beginning to question myself. At least I'm not the only one..

I filed a Steam ticket regarding the matter but I've yet to hear back. I don't imagine it will lead to much of anything but I figured I'd at least ask.
