Not bad, and I'm glad they fixed the bugs that plagued the console version (including skill dropping from player profiles, which was awful...)
Very faithful to the boardgame, and the Blitz game variant is an interesting (if not particularly engaging) variation, which plays more like a popular series of American Football video games.
A few things could certainly be improved on, and might affect your enjoyment of this game, so be aware:
* Although injuries, including death, are permanent for your team, they mean absolutely nothing to the computer teams, which return to their starting condition after every single match. That gets a little old after a while. There's no sense of permancy other than on your side of the pitch, and it makes it tempting to rely on "save-scumming" to get through tricky matches.
* I would vastly prefer a way to choose exactly which teams are 'legal' - even if it was just a way to pick which of the expansion teams were included rather than the current all-or-nothing approach. Be prepared for constant, tedious battles with Khemri...
* If playing a solo game, the computer continually spams pathetic 'smack talk' style messages at you in chat, which do nothing to aid immersion but reveal rather more about what the developers think of you as a person (or what kind of person they think plays their game).
Those annoyances aside, it's really not a bad game at all.
