Is it worth the $13, ive been interested in this game for awhile but i want an opinion from somebody that has played the game for awhile and can tell me about the pros aswell as the cons.

I think you should look up SBFMaddjinn on Youtube or Twitch, he has a few Lets Plays up on what is essentially HArd mode for the game. I myself am Debating on getting it too though

All the steam sale games get low ratings on Metacritic. They all probably do really suck. This game only got a 78 score.

78 is a pretty good score on Metacritic ( imho ). If you're fan of Civizilization / Age of Wonders / Heroes of Might of Magic, then you'll probably enjoy this. The game is still supported with patches still coming in.

Great game at a great Sale Price!
If you're a 4X Turn-based Strategy fan you'll enjoy this. Based on past experience with Stardock (specifically GalCiv & GalCiv2) they will continue to make Balance adjustments based on player feedback.

Ignore Metacritic scores...the best way to use Metacritic is to take a look at User-written reviews and see if there are things (positive or negative) that are mentioned multiple times.

Haha, I only just bought it, I'm still downloading it, the download wont be done for hours (♥♥♥♥♥♥ australian internet) but once its downloaded and ive played a bit I will let you know mate

Yes, when you have played it for a while (at the moment according to the forums you only posted that you'd buy it about 23 minutes ago according to the time stamp on your post when you said you'll probably get it), do tell us how it was for you.

I'd like to get this, especially at the sale price but I am also sitting on the fence about it. I don't really want to buy a Civilization style game if it's only a watered down half baked Civilization knock off that goes more into fantasy land than what Civ is like if it's bad, but if it's good than I'd like to get it while it's still on sale so do please let us know what you think of it blood.hawk.

Double Edit: Meh, bought it since it's only $13.00 and I like the ability to mod games so maybe if it's not to my liking, I'll still find mods that improve it, or I can do my own. I often end up spending more time modding games than I do actually playing them in vanilla format.

<-- This is what sold me on it, hopefully it's full featured modding tools. Will find out in an hour or two I guess when it's done downloading.

I got this for free because i pre-ordered the incomplete "Elemental" game. (There way of saying sorry I guess.) I think the metacritic score is accurate, the game is ok.
