It's a great game. There is definitely a learning curve though. These videos are a little over informitive but they helped me learn the game.

Build an empire from the ground up with unique units, heroes, niches, ect.

Good game, and with all the offers going around you can pick it up really cheap, and you should get more than your moneys worth.
If you like it then you can always think about buying Legendary heroes, which is basically the same game but even better.

For what it's worth, I like the style of the game. It is also very big on customizability and mods. You can create your own factions and sovereigns in-game, but if you want to change more, it's designed from the ground up to be modable.

Are you sure about that, cause I am thinking about buying it myself and if thats true that would of course be one more good reason to pick it up while it is on sale today. However I did see nothing on the Legendary Heroes shopsite that did say that you will get a special offer if you have the previous game.

I own FE on steam and when i go to Steam FE LH storepage it also shows a 50 percent discount (it doesnt say why though and for how long but i guess that discount is for owning FE on steam).

i bought this game the last time it was on sale, and i already have 230 hours into it. if you like turn base you should definitely get it.
